I have friends who warned me about buying an espresso machine saying that I wouldnt use it as often, they are all very noisy...ect. However, This machine is wonderful! It isnt noisy at all, it has a very fast heat up time and the coffee taste perfect everytime. This Espressione Cafe Retro Espresso Machine, is absolutely worth the money and it didnt take long at all learning how to use it, I'm beyond pleased and would reccommend it to everyone.......Enjoy!!

The espresso machine is very easy to operate. It is quick and the espresso is delicious. I use the machine daily in the morning and afternoon.

It's a trade off; the reservoir is smaller than I would like but on the other hand, the water is always fresh. It makes a great espresso with rich creama and frothing is a cinch. I keep the frothing wand clean by filling a glass with water then "steaming" the water on and off. When you put the lever up to close the steam, it pulls in some of the water and that keeps the wand clean.
I would definitely recommend it and may buy some as gifts in the future.

When making multiple cappuccinos, machine takes a long time to get at lower temperature for the espresso if you steam the milk fist or steam in between making espressos.

I bought this machine for my husband, a notorious coffee drinker, as a gift, and he's very happy with it. It's very easy to use and clean, it looks good, and makes great coffee :)

I make cappuccino 2-3 times for myself and 1-3 times for other family members, daily! At first I was ready to ship this back. I had never owned a nice espresso machine before this, so I didn't know what was normal or not. Was it normal that the grounds were soupy when the shot was done? Was it normal that tons of clumps were stuck up in the filter housing when I took the filter out? I called my coffee friend, Sherri, who owned a very nice Saeco espresso machine from Starbucks of the same size. YES. Hers did all these things too! Okay...so if I send this back and get some other espresso machine, it will do the same things (AND be ugly.) I'm keeping it!

Bottom line...unless you want to get up to the REALLY expensive machines that have a 3-way valve to separate the water from coming back through the filter during the frothing process, the grounds are going to be drippy and stuck a few places you'll have to clean.

Sherri told me to draw the shot, remove the filter immediately, dump the grounds, put something under the filter housing and run the coffee again...this showers off the majority of the grounds for you!

I LOOOOOVE espresso...so I'm willing to take 10-12 minutes to get coffee I adore. (This is grinding while machine warms up, pressing grounds in filter, making espresso, dumping grounds, showering, waiting for frothing temp and frothing 1/2 c. of milk=10 mins is as fast as I can do it all.)

I think with just about any machine there's just a little routine you have to go through. This one just happens to look very cool too. (I get ooos and ahhhs every time visitors come in my kitchen!) :)

Great machine, works fine. I bought it two years ago for my husband and he loves it.
